Thankful Thursday! Excited, for the weekend!

Thank goodness it is Thursday, it has been a hectic week! I have made a lot of progress with my blogging lately, and I am loving all the new things I can do! I am still looking to get more traffic and views and I am joining other social media sites in order to share my blogs! Some are automated to post a blog or be shared elsewhere. I'm still a bit confused because, I usually just stick to a few and than walk away and process with my day/life offline.

These days however, I have been looking everywhere, and checking out all those popular sites...No I still don't have an instagram lol.. But I don't have a cell phone that has internet either. Maybe if I was actually bringing in a profit here and there I'd get one, I just have a $10,000 student loan to pay off, so those cool cell phone internet and apps are going to have to wait!

Right now, I would rather find a job, or earn a commission pay online and get my student loan payed off and be able to go get my drivers permit/license.

Anyways this is Thankful Thursday, not venting Thursday :-)

And what I am thankful for right now is...

I have had a lot of spare time to blog and set up other social media sharing sites to share my blog on!
It has been March break for the kids where I am from!
It's so close to spring I can smell it!
I have been learning so much that I love it and am feel quite content with all the knowledge!
I have helped a few people learn new things and I also end up learning more as well!

Funny how showing others how to do something you end up learning more new things for yourself :-)

I will now add some thankful quotes! These are ones I posted before, but they are important!

Have a great weekend, I may post something for Friday as well!

Thankful Thursday!!! I'm so grateful...

I am so grateful for all that I have, because so many don't have as much!

I am thankful for:

The clothes on my back
The shoes on my feet,
The dishes in my cupboard
And even the food that we eat!

That there is a roof over my head,
A bathroom where I can get clean,
A bedroom with a bed,
A dresser and a closet,
For all that they keep.

So grateful for my loved ones,
Family and my friends,
And to all the random people I have met,
Because some are so caring, it brings hope in this sometimes overly cruel world!

Yes I did write this poem on the spot, please do not steal it without expressed permission and credit  to me as the creator/writer!
Thanks
Ann

And for all my readers, and followers I would like to say a big big!!

Tuesday's Treasures! Tell me about yourself and your blog(s)!

I would like to dedicate my Tuesday blogs, to a Tuesday's Treasures blog post. I am aiming to make it for sharing other blogs and having them interviewed and shared here every Tuesday!
I would like each blogger to be showcased as a treasure.

I enjoy reading other blogger's blogs!

What is your blog about?
What would you like other bloggers to know about you?
How long have you been blogging?
What made you deside to start blogging?
How often do you blog? (ei. once a month, once a week, so many times a month/week?)
Do you monetize?
How many places do you share you blog to?
How many views do you get a day roughly?

I'll add more questions here for future! I'd like to see if I get any interest 1st, thanks

Steps to clarity

Steps to clarity, these steps come from many stages of life and in many forms, be it an unhappy relationship, employment, to any kind of substance abuse.

Sometimes in life we can feel trapped, helpless, uncertain of our future. And sometimes at these times we have moments of clarity. They aren't set in stone, they are just moments in life where, for the lucky ones who listen and pay attention to themselves, it just flicks on like a light switch.

It just happens, just out of the blue one day. Being so consumed with unhappiness or hopelessness can bring about such a moment. Sometimes it just pops into your head; "What am I doing? Why am I so unhappy?" Or even, "What happened to my life?" And a dawning of the thoughts just happen.

  • The first step is realizing that there is a problem.
  • The second step is acknowledging you're truly unhappy in your situation.
  • The third step is not wanting things to be as they are.
  • The forth step is realizing things have got to change.
  • And knowing you need to change; in order for your happy, to actually take place.
And most important of these moments is to let go of the fear of change or the fear you'll mess up!
As always, believe in your ability, believe in yourself!

Something about books and how they can relate to people, in a sense!

This is a long read, and I hope you take the time to read it, I put a lot of thought and feeling here!

I have been laying in bed for a little while now, and I got to thinking!

"People are kind of like books!"
We are judged on our appearances, no matter what our contents might be, we have chapters in our lives, with each having a new beginning with each year gone by, some years are interconnected, and some are far different than that of the next.

What I am trying to get at is, we can see an enchanting book upon a shelf and want it so bad, just because it's cover catches our eyes and we feel the need to reach out and grab it!

But then again there are these books, with chapter names that can be quite appealing as well. BUT after we buy that book, it seems to have an awesome cover, wonderful thought out chapter names (Life achievements we'll say) and we get home, sit and start reading...Not so bad!

However after a few chapters those names are just names..

Okay, I'll just cut to the chase here...Some chapters can get down right nasty and grotesque!

Okay here is my example, but in PERSON form, instead of book explanation form!

Say there is a man....OR woman, and they have high achievements in life, good grades all through school, goes to college, gets out, finds a great job she loves with a passion...BUT half way through life and those wonderful passionately well put togetherness years of life, something happens and they have a downfall, a "spiral to rock bottom" chapter that pops in there...and than life gets really really crappy!

That's the awesome enchanting covered book with great chapter names I was talking about... Don't get me wrong, I know it doesn't always happen!

And then we have those "meh" books, they look okay, a little rough around the edges, and the contents are a bit interesting, I may want to read it!!

For this book, say it's a man...OR a woman! They suck at school are poor and kind of living life from rock bottom, most of their days, always hungry, always hoping they will get something of value to feel they have something to appreciate and treasure for a change. Trying very hard to never take anything for granted, and being always thankful for what they have, because they know that at anytime of day or given moment they know it can be gone in a flash. Maybe they quit school, because they didn't get good grades at all, settled for everything that was there if needed. Always grateful, but also a bit bittered by heartache from loved ones.

Something happens, life gets a little better, but worry, it lingers always in the back of their heads. For this person, they know how quick things can change and how fast things can be taken away or vanish and be gone. They pick themselves up, dust off the discouraging words in their head and push on a head and do what they never thought they'd ever do, and beat their own odds of thinking they might lose. And end up at the top, while still appreciating each day, each possession they own as a treasure, each person who hasn't walked away or given up on them along the hard journey it had been to get where they were.

That is the book I want! The book that shows the struggle, as I know it can be, life isn't easy for everyone, we all have chapters, we all have pages we wish we could tear out! But you know what? Not everyone is the same and we all have our own chapters, in which shouldn't be judged! Anything could happen while living each chapter.

And a star can rise and fall, but leaves can slowly drift to the ground, yet be gently swept up to a tree branch again. Life can have ups and downs, but some know how to live with it and others don't, because they have not experienced it before...Sometimes the one who was always at the bottom, finds it easier to put things back together again, and the one who is new to it, finds it life threatening, not knowing what to do...and those moments, they show you what life is all about and who really cares....AND WHO WE ARE! We learn so much about ourselves at those times, those hard times, are trying and learning curves in life! Yes we hate those moments, but later in life we learned, we LIVED, it showed us WHO WE ARE, not to everyone, but to us! Learning who you are to yourself, it's not easy, but it's worth getting to know yourself...It helps to live a bit happier knowing, you're your own friend, when you have yourself you can't be alone! ;)

I love reading!

I always read the information description that usually is on the inside cover or the back of the book before getting a book. Books that show an experienced knowledge throughout (I mean school and life knowledge) are usually the best books on the shelf! I left the parts about love out for a reason because sometimes love can be the cause of the downfall or the cause of the uprising.

I hope everyone has a great year this year and that it is filled with love, good health, happiness and peace!

An opinion about beliefs!

Beliefs!

What are they to you?
I feel we must see it, to believe it...

Today I was going through some other sites and blogs based around their religion. One got me thinking, I clicked a link, I wont give away the site name or the link within it's page, but it was a link within that site labeled about, "Beliefs".. I seen this and was compelled to click. I "assumed" it was going to be an explanation on their beliefs. However ..It was not. It was just verses in the bible. It made me want to ask them, if they had 'experienced these "beliefs" within the bible?'.

I'm not an Atheist or anything, but I do understand where some of them come from in not believing stuff like what our history has written about God, and the Devil, and the bible stories, and stuff. HOWEVER, I believe in God because, I HAVE experienced things. What I can't seem to understand is how, people can preach without experiencing, what they are preaching about..You know, you do need experience with things that you're talking and preaching about, in order to explain it correctly; from a personal view, in my opinion.

I never talked about love, nor did I write anything about knowing about it, when I was younger. Because I didn't know anything about it. I'd give advice on what I would do if this, bf did whatever to me (got dumped, put down, etc)...as advice to a friend, but you know, I really hadn't a clue what I was talking about because I had never felt that kind of love before. Matter of fact I never experienced a real bf before at that time either. Not anything as serious as they had than. The most I had done was hug a boy. Luckily my friends didn't really listen so much, because I didn't know what I was talking about, knowing I didn't have experience to say anything on the subject.

So when I explain things now I either give an opinion, with a statement that I never experienced it before so take it with that in mind. Or I state my experience and why I feel the way I do about the advice and or opinion given with my blog postings.

Sorry I just had to ramble a little bit.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

A BUSY week so far!

Well...
It's been a busy week so far and it's only Tuesday! But The weekend made it seem longer, my child was sick with a stomach bug, so I had lots of mommy things to do. I have been walking a lot, to and from everywhere. I am feeling pooped...

I had a rough night last night, but I am feeling fine now, I got some house work done, and other stuff done, but I feel I have neglected posting online! NOT on purpose though! I have just been busy, busy, busy!

I like being a closed book. And I guess after I opened it; I got what I got, because I opened it.. which I don't normally do. I think I will keep it under lock and key from now on!

From now on, I am only telling what I feel like telling and keep my feelings out of the matter, unless it is deserved or needed. I don't need a man anyway. I sure miss my father a lot though. He always made me feel better; when I'd cry, he'd talk to me and if I wouldn't tell him what was wrong, he would think of another way in order to cheer me up! And he did try hard too, because once I am mad or upset it is hard to get me out of it. Well it was anyway.

He would talk to me, or give me a big bear hug, and if that didn't work he would get up to pretend he was walking away and pretend he stubbed his toe or something like that to make me laugh :)...He always found a way to cheer me up. I miss him so much these days. But "I always know" he is always with me in heart!

Well it's almost bed time and I have other blogs to update as well, you all have a wonderful week and night!

About advice!...

Lately I have been a bit down, maybe it's because spring has sprung, but winter keeps peeking in on us and throwing some snow and hail or whatever cold that just must come...It's depressing, it's spring and I love Spring! I do love all the seasons in their own way, but I also get tired of them if they have worn out their welcome..mainly winter of course ;)

So I guess I am blogging because I wanted to say, lately I haven't been feeling very opinionated enough to post! I don't feel those advice juices flowing, like I did when I first created this blog.

I am working on sites and keeping busy with that, as mentioned before!

I have another blog I have been working on as well...And a private one for personal ranting lol...And that's all been keeping me quite busy. It's been taking most, if not all, of my me time...Which I don't mind so much, because it is a nice distraction from having the winter blues vs the spring time embrace, mixed all into one. It's like a roller-coaster of seasonal war or something at times...One day it is beautiful spring and the next day could be the same or freezing cold and getting sick with pneumonia, watching a snow storm. I am sure the birds must be utterly confused.

I've just been lost for words when it comes to writing an advice blog lately...I apologize for the lack of postings that could have been existent!

On that note, I hope you all have a wonderful week!
Blessings to all and have a great night!

Update!

I know I am late on posting a new blog, as I said a couple weeks ago I would post a new one! However, I have a few sites I have been working on, and one of them has more than 10 pages! I have been very busy updating webpages and fixing broken links, as well as adding a few surprises :)

So I thought since I had a spare moment from doing that, from being sick as well as being a mom and going to school half days everyday of the week. I have been a bit busy. So now I am finally posting...Just as an update, and to apologize for not posting anytime sooner!

Have a great week!

PS-I shall return once I have things fixed and updated to my liking!

Happy Mothers day!

I am having a good mothers day weekend! My mom came to visit and stay with me for the week end! This may seem regular for others, but for me it is a gift! Because My mother and I haven't been really close for years. I moved in with my father after I turned twelve, and well we kind of fell apart! I have always loved my mother and so this was a bit hard on both of us over the years.
