Relationships, just thoughts...

There are so many days I wish I was in a relationship, I miss being held close, I miss having someone I can share those intimate thoughts with. Walking hand in hand, laying in the spoon position, long hours of gentle yet assuring silence. A simple kiss on my cheek or forehead, just because. A loving glance across the room. I haven't really experienced that too many times in my life time...I'm sad to admit.

I really haven't had many relationships to reassure myself that I make a good partner! I know I am a good friend, a good moral support, a motivator, and I try to inspire others to follow their hearts desire into the parts of themselves that they are too afraid to be, for fear of rejection or critics.

Am I a good partner in a relationship? I haven't had a real relationship for 5+ years. Am I broken? I wonder if I could even stand being with someone ever again, if I would care about myself enough to be happy with someone other than myself. There are so many questions I ask myself when it comes to thoughts of "finding someone"...Am I lovable? I believe I am, I love me...Obviously. But will someone else love me...For me?

I'm a single mom, it's hard work, my son in now 14, taller than me and boys are hard to raise.

It's been a long time, I am torn between, "do I want to be with someone?" or "do I want to end up alone when my son grows old enough to move out on his own?"!

Is that sad? It makes me feel sad, just thinking and writing about it. :-(

Am I breaking my own heart? I have only "been with" two men. I'm 36...
I have always told myself "No settling" for no love and just a partner, so here is what it has me at...
When it comes to that part of my life * love, romance* and actually having any..I am saddened by thoughts of "maybe I am not good enough to be in a relationship", but I miss being loved in such a way. Is that loneliness? Maybe, but I don't know.

I am craving to find someone I have chemistry with...That has only happened once...To be honest. Everything else in live seems easy comparing it to romance.
I don't know what else to write.

Have a good week.

Thankful Thursday!

Thanks to those who take the time to read this long winded blog post. This isn't about anyone in particular!

Life and Time!

What are you doing with them? Are you happy? Are you ever happy?

Some people invest their lives trying to be happy, but forget to think about what they are doing that is causing their unhappiness and are blaming and or taking it out on others! I see happy people everyday, some of them don't have their dream job, some just make the most of it and not worry about what they do as being a cause for their unhappiness.

If you're truly unhappy, I believe a long time of self reflection is necessary, in order to find the cause. Others CAN NOT do that for you!!! I'm not saying this to be a smart -a$$ I'm speaking from experience, and with that being said, I don't try to manipulate others to make them feel bad for their choices! I try my best to keep others positive, to keep motivated to find what makes them happy rather than dwelling on it! No matter how I feel myself.

Things I did to make myself feel better and it didn't happen overnight:
  • I looked for things I liked to do
  1. found books that peeked my interests
  2. taught myself how to do new things (the things I was interested in like drawing, painting, become better with my words, etc)
  3. research other hobbies I might like to try (wired jewelry, scrap-booking)
  • Go back to school; finish that, so I could go to another school of my choice, so I could enter "that" career field! (Hairstyling)
  • Look for daily motivations (I actually started with this)
  1. The daily motivations changed my life for the better
  2. Daily affirmations can change your thought process if you keep them there daily, and stick with it!
  • Stop trying to make others feel guilty/bad for how you're feeling! That isn't a way to make yourself feel better in the long run. Everyone has their own problems, you want to tell someone? Get counseling, It helps too!
  • Go for a long jog/walk, for meditative self reflecting thoughts in nature!!
  1. it's good for your health(mental, physical, and emotional)
  2. it brings peace of mind
  • Stretch out your spare time wisely!
  1. don't waste it dwelling on how you feel all day dragging it on and on, repeating something you don't like or telling yourself over and over again how depressed and unhappy you are, it ISN'T going to make it go away, it will only prolong it and make you feel worse (again speaking from experience!!!)
  2. Look for enjoyable things to do! (Find activities for you and your spouse and or children to do outside of the home) Don't have time? I don't believe you! That's you making excuses for yourself. How do I know? I have done it plenty of times myself. Find the time...Period. Quit your whining about it! Worse things have happened in this world!!
So I am going through some things right now, but instead of trying to make others feel bad for me, I am just living life and going with it! I don't like to allow myself to dwell anymore, because I already know how that will pan out! I've already been there and done that.

So what am I thankful for? For years of affirmations, years of self reflection(when I needed it most), years of trying to help others and for those grateful ones who appreciated it!

I'm thankful I have a roof over my head, food in my refrigerator and cupboards, for being born with sight and hearing, and having hands and feet and being able to walk (because I know others aren't as lucky to be blessed with such things).

I'm grateful for my parents, who taught me how to be grateful for everything I have, because I could have less(and I know what that's like)! I'm grateful to be able to help others and tell them how they could help themselves become happier(but I wont stick around and tolerate/take their anger, when I'm trying to help them), or help them find/with the resources to help themselves!

So PLEASE, before you criticize others, when they've only been nice and helpful to you, STOP yourself and self reflect and ask yourself WHY you're doing that! And for those offered help, please just say you don't want help in a nice manner, and stop being such an a-hole! That's not the way to make/keep friends. Overly uptight people are no fun to be around and make others feel bad (whether they know it or not), please just relax and let things be!

Thanks to those who took the time to read this long winded blog post in full today, and I really hope it's helped you in some positive way! There is always something to be thankful for.

As always, stay positive, believe in yourself and your ability to progress positively in the happier direction!

Relationships!

I've learned that you should NEVER force yourself to be with anyone you don't want to be with!

Some will try to force you to be in a relationship, with guilt trips.
Some will try to blackmail you into staying and try to trap you.
Threats are made at times too. Even death threats, those are the kinds you MUST get away from!
Some hate change so they try to make you stay, some just don't want to be alone. That's not love! That's overly selfish.
Some accuse you of cheating, when you haven't been with anyone, haven't even seen anyone for that matter, aside from work or family. Don't let their SELFISH words make you stay!!!!

Yes you may feel bad about hurting them and their feelings, but you need to realize, you also have feelings! If you settle or stay where you feel you don't want to be, you suffer more then they do. Or you both suffer, these are parts of those hard choices which have to be made(in life), no questions asked, answered or doubts set aside.

Sometimes they will say they trust you, yet you can see in their actions that they don't, you can read in their words and or questions asked, that they don't. Don't ignore your own inner voice, when you feel they are not being honest, when they show differently then what they say!

Don't let their friends try to change your mind into staying either. Others will try to make you feel guilty for them as well, even if those people don't even know it.

Is your unhappiness, less important then their fear of being alone or not giving them their way? Sometimes it's just that you said no that makes them want you to stay. Some people need to stop acting spoiled and take no for an answer. NO MEANS NO.

Even worse, if you do end up choosing to stay, you could end up hating yourself and being overly depressed, suicidal, or even cheating, because you're not happy, but forced to stay....where you don't want to be.

I had to break up with someone by writing them a letter because my voice wasn't being heard for the past couple weeks of stating 'it wasn't working' and I 'didn't want to be in any relationship.'

I told them in the letter, it wasn't working, I didn't want to be with anyone. I told them I wasn't happy, that it was obvious everyday. It was obvious I wasn't trusted, that I my words about leaving verbally wasn't getting through, that we weren't meant to be. That I wasn't in love, and it was obvious they didn't love me either. I didn't need them and they didn't need me! It said 'don't call and 'don't come to my house'. There was a bit more explanation and stuff, enough information stating why and such and such about not being in a relationship, etc.
They called(I didn't answer) and did come to my door. At which point I stated, it had only been 2 or 3 minutes of them reading the first bit. Obviously not enough time to have read the whole thing. Which stated to not do those things.

I knew from a previous relationship, I wasn't settling for what didn't make me feel happy, I felt alone in someone's company.  I was myself and they tried to change me. They got angry when I touched anything they owned, just looking. I left, I said why I left and why I wouldn't be in that situation again. I was set up with them, It's their mess to clean, not mine. . I thought I was giving someone a chance. Which wasn't easy at all for me, I had learned enough and left and OTHERS NEED TO LET IT BE AND LET IT REST IN THE PAST.  It's been over for years.

I felt mocked, treated like a dumba**, talked about behind my back, bragged about to their friends, complained about to their friends, I did a lot of shit for them, because I'm that kind of person and they complained about what little they did for me(as if I had done nothing at all for them).

NO I NEVER WANT THAT PERSON BACK, IT'S BEEN OVER SINCE THE DATE I STATED IT WAS OVER. THERE WAS NO AFTERWARDS.

My point here is DON'T stay no matter what they say or do. And most importantly, pay attention and use your common sense.

Sometimes for peace of mind...

Sometimes for our own peace of mind, we must let go of old negative things. Be it friends, family members or even running back to old loves, we sometimes need to do it!

I know sometimes goodbyes are very painful, but we need to know that sometimes the others involved just don't care enough to even notice you've even walked away from the relationship.

Recently I have been thinking about an old school friend I use to be very close to, well I considered us close but they have done so much in the past to hurt the trust, that I don't even think that our friendship was for real, I was stolen from, I've be refused when I asked if I could stay with them a few days when I wanted to leave the relationship I had been in for a long time, being very unhappy.

They had said no, yet, when given the same opportunity, I did not shut them out. I actually invited them to stay until they found their own place. And again I was stolen from when they did leave, and later found out they were talking bad about me to their friends, which they had talked about them to me badly as well. Not one thank you! Is there really that many people like that in this world?

I've had family members talk badly of me, after being there for them, treated as if I was ungrateful for the things they had done for me, but when I was there for them, not one thank you.

I've had others come and go, people abandon me when my father passed. Treated like crap two days after he passed when I called another friend.

Yet, they all treat me as if I am the bad guy...and all those times I forgave, still encouraged them, still spoke empowering and positive words to help their confidence.

I've been called so many names, of which I am not any of those names except the B word. But to me, being a B is what I must do, in order to show I wont take their S.

So in order to keep a positive peace in my mind, I do things for myself, in order to keep me going, even though I sometimes come across some real A-holes who like to talk behind my back and insult me. Invite me places only to not call, and this just makes me think they just did it in order to laugh.

So I keep to myself and still try my best to keep others feeling good about themselves, complimenting their work, offering to help others, when I can.

So now, here I am a bit sad, trying my best to pick my moods back up to where they should be. I'm sad because I'm saying goodbye to a friendship, that meant something to me, but they have just showed me all along it has meant nothing to them.

I have felt and feel used, taken advantage of, unloved, unappreciated...

I'm sorry this message isn't very positive right now, but somethings a person must get things off their chests in order to feel more at ease and give themselves a little bit of peace at mind moments of true clarity. Which sometimes you can't really talk to those people, because they just get silent and I have the knowledge of knowing them well enough to be blaming me for their a-hole moments. Because they can't handle the fact that I know. Some unable to handle the truth.

I guess this is enough reading for you all tonight.

I've had worse things happen to me in the past so losing a friendship that means nothing to the other end is quite okay.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has experienced these things and I'd like to apologize for any wounds I might have opened for anyone.

Be well and always be positive, sometimes we need those negatives though...in order to see those positives hiding below the surface.

Everyone has a past...

Over the years I have heard others say "they have a past", this was referring to different people, so please do not think I am just saying that directed at one person.

Everyone has a past, and everyone makes mistakes. Whether it's a crime committed or a person(or persons) we hurt, there is always that label of having a past. If we think really hard on it, we'll realize that everyone has a past and we all make mistakes, if not for mistakes not one person in this world would have succeeded in anything in life. Some successful people started from the ground up with having done something "bad" or "wrong", but we all know that if we gave up if by making our first mistakes, who would we be and what have we of learned along the way?

Do babies fall when they first start to crawl? Do they give up after the first try? No! Do they stop trying to walk after taking their first steps after falling hard on their backsides? No! Have we given up after first trying to skate or ride a bike? No!

Just because some people make bad life decisions, doesn't mean we should give up on ourselves and or others. They were choices made, maybe out of poor judgement or because of simple peer pressure, either way it's mistakes. Some aren't bad choices, some are just bad timing. No one should give up, you have to have faith in yourself and your abilities!

Why do some people give up because of a few bad life choices? You didn't give up when you fell off your bike or some other thing you "learned from"!

Bad choices are made to teach us, we date someone and maybe they hurt us in a way we never thought we would allow ourselves to get hurt. Maybe we bought something before thinking about it before wasting the money on that item(s), or perhaps we stole something because our friends did or did something drastic because of a dare(Don't jump off of a bridge)?

Mistakes are a part of everyone's life, we all make them and if we didn't we would not have lived, we must learn somehow. With experience and by observing others we can learn a lot. Mistakes are like eating, sleeping, breathing and any other thing we must do in order to live! We must also remember though if we think before we do, it might make all the difference on how people view us. Sure they are going to say, "they have a past", but do they wonder what choices they've made? I'm not saying to go rob a bank or steal a car, I am saying, we all have done something in life we aren't proud of. Some make reckless decisions and some make good ones, but there are times when we all make one or more choices that we aren't proud of.

People make mistakes, that doesn't mean that they themselves are mistakes. No one is a mistake, even killers that haven't been caught aren't mistakes, they are just making bad choices. I am not condoning them, I'm just saying, if you haven't killed anyone, why beat yourself up because you did drugs for years or stole most of your life. So stop yourself if it makes you unhappy in doing those things!

Some people make harsh decisions because they feel their life depends on it, it feels like a need and they feel they don't have a choice. Maybe they don't want to think about those choices, everyone can change and lots of people change for the better, change is a part of life too.

We must choose to better our situation, if we want to change who we are, if we ourselves are making ourselves unhappy. It's not just about others and what they have to say, sure it hurts to hear it, but we can't change for anyone but ourselves. If you're unhappy with your choices, than change them choices, it's never too late...

Ex's and New relationships...

Hello everyone
This has been going through my mind lately, I have had times where I have seen friends or even family members go on and on about their ex's. I have also seen them do this while in arguments with their new relationships.

What I'd like to say is this, "If you bring up your ex and do not share a child with them, it is not a healthy thing to talk about for your new/current relationship in general".

I'm no expert at relationships, but I do know, when a new relationship starts, I personally do not want to hear about the ex's, I don't talk about my ex's. I would however like to point out that, when you have a child with an ex, it might be more acceptable if they might happen to be discussed, but only when you have a child with that ex, as it is just inevitable. But if you have any ex's that you don't have children with, speaking about them can ruin your chances of that new relationships survival.

Personally, I don't like it when I get compared (whether positive or negative) to an ex. It just feels wrong, it's a total turn off and feels like it's only a means of smooth talking/flattery that I do not like to know. Here is an example, I don't want to be told my so and so body part is so much better than your ex's body part. I am feeling judged, not impressed or feeling at all confident that you like me or my body part better!

I'd also like to add that if ex's are going to be discussed, let the other bring it up, if you want to talk about it, you will. For me it is undesirable to bring ex's up, unless they want to talk about your past relationships...Is it a smart move? If that relationship has ended, isn't it meant to stay in the past?

Here are the reasons why I don't think it's a smart move to discuss ex's in new relationships.
No one likes to be compared to anyone else, because it feels judgmental, like you're not over that ex(s), as if you have to compete with someone that shouldn't even be discussed, that you're not good enough, that you need to do better than the ex in order to not hear about them anymore. Worse of all we think, that you're not over them. I hope I have explained this all right, and so others can understand it well enough.

I'd like to point out, if you have a miscommunication with an ex, and they don't know about the new relationship and have tried to communicate with you because you just come and go in their life and they need answers or even closure. I don't feel that ex should be to blame for any future relationship problems. It's not fair to leave someone in the dark, or hanging on for nothing if you're not going to call them back or even see them again. Keeping a person on a string as a means of a "back up plan" is unfair, wrong and just harder for them to trust or even forgive you (or anyone else for that matter) for it. If they care, it's very heartbreaking to find out you've found someone new, and even worse if you are still leading them on...And your idea of closure is to let them see you with someone else...when you didn't say anything.

But than again there are those crazy ex's who show up at your door screaming at you and looking psychotically at the new girl/guy. Those ex's you just can't ignore discussing in a new relationship. Those are the kinds that need the law to keep them away (if it works), and if your new relationship is meant to last, they will be understanding of the psychopath who just is so obsessed that they can't think of or do anything else...until of course someone they feel is better comes a long(for your sake lets hope so!) and then they leave you alone. Word of advice, be sure you warn your new girl/guy of that ex right away!

There are just so many reason why we should not bring up ex's. This was just to name a few. I feel I was maybe programed to know this stuff or just acquired this information over time. Either way, it feels programmed into my brain to know that discussing ex's isn't healthy(unless it's to warn about a crazy Ex of course) for a new relationship.

Yes there is some personally added feelings here so others can understand a bit better, there are also personally added parts of what I have seen others experience in there too. Please do not judge nor assume what parts are personal.

Thanks for reading and have a great week!

A wonderful start of the day! Monday's Gladness!

Hello everyone!
Today was a great day so far, I slept in a little. And than I went for an appointment that concerns life and my love for the Arts!

Here is link to the place I went to today, and it looks promising for a future choice. My concerns are only about finances! With that being the only concern in my life, I have to admit, it's not so big of a negative in the situation for my life.
http://www.atlanticacentre.com/main.html

I'm pretty excited, they showed me around, they explained how everything is done, they explained the processes as well as the training and that everything starts from the bottom up. So everything is taking you "One step at a time"! This is awesome, the last words my dad (may he rest in peace <3 ) ever said to me before his passing was "Take it One step at a time", so what's that say to me? Maybe it's a sign? Either way, I am glad I went for the tour and as of right now, the door is looking wide open to me when it comes to future schooling/career choices!

When your heart is telling you something...it's not a voice you can just ignore! I'm listening, and I am hearing so much...More than I realized, I can hear it! I can "feel" it, and I am just a short distance away from it. :)

So it's going to be a busy week, of thinking, exploring my next choices and moves, and best of all, my future for my child and myself.

I hope your week has been off to a great start everyone!

AnnJ

Saturdays sadness...Sorry being dramatic today.

Hello all,
I'm just going to vent today, sorry I'm seeming like a drama queen here.
I've been hurt in the past, sexually abused as a child(By family members no less), bullied at school as well by family members.
But I forgave, it's not easy to forget. I've put people out of my life, and I have stuck up for myself when I knew no one else would. I have spoke my mind to show I wouldn't back down to their hurt and lies.

But you know, it's not easy "pretending" like it doesn't hurt me. I may throw back words to defend myself, but it doesn't mean I'm not hurt...It's a defense mechanism, that has been strengthened over time.

In time, I only wish for my life to stay getting better and for happiness to find me safe and sound.
Blessings everyone.

Well it's Friday the 13th! Are you happy, superstitious or scared?

Friday the 13th!
Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day!
What's your thoughts on it?
Has it always been unlucky for you? Has it been lucky? Is it just another day?
Do you like it, and does the fact that some people find it a scary day and don't go anywhere make you like it even more? Do you think it's foolish to be afraid of Friday the 13th?

I'm gonna share my fur-babies for today, so you can know me and my pets. No worries, I plan to post a bit about my boy tomorrow! I'll make a whole post of it, being all about him!
Here's my beautiful kitties!
These are my kitties! The one above is Fable(my son's cat), they are both very different cats, one is an indoor sookie(Fable) who has the smallest meow for a full grown cat, he sounds a lot like a kitten still, and the other one is an outdoor loving cat(Prometheus, my gorgeous and he loves being called it too) who follows me around like a dog, sometimes when he meows it sounds like he is crying "mom" and sometimes it sounds like he is a squeak toy! lol
I hope you're not superstitious about Friday the 13th, as it is just another day! I am a little superstitious, but this day is not one of them lol.
I hope your weekend goes well and you don't have any bad luck!
Blessings to you all!

"Tuesday's Rant!" ..About the different kinds of friendships out there....sad but true!

"Tuesday's Rant!"

Different kinds of friendships out there....sad but true!

I have had many types of friends come and go in my life, great ones I could do almost anything with, and some that you come to know as liars and cheats as well as those who will take from you and expect it to be okay. There are ones who will pretend to be your best friend and they will go behind your back and talk bad about you...Even though you've said nothing but nice things about them and done nice things for them. Two faced people are what I am referring to!

Please don't get me wrong, sometimes we have a friend who will say your life story to others without realizing how damaging it is to you until they lose you as a friend and can't seem to understand why, and you're so upset with them that you can't tell them and just keep silent. These are good friends with hearts of gold, but at the same time, it's hard to trust what to say to them about your personal life.

Than there's those friends you can do almost anything with (or anything if you're wild and free spirited :-D), you can trust they have your back if trouble seems to creep up uninvited! They'll pretend your their sister/brother to prove to someone else that you're never alone! You can drink shots and walk miles to get home without worrying they'll abandon you for some hot guy/chick! And best of all, on that long walk home, if you're too drunk to walk, they will let you lean on them! LOL

But than there are those two faced ones I was talking about, who will ask you about your personal life; just so they can tell others about it later, and possibly fabricate it and make it a whole lot more than what it was!

Some people will become your friend, just so they can have something to gossip about, some will be your friends, in order to be come cool or popular because they don't know who they are. And some will simply be your friend so they can have someone they know who will always be there, because you have a big heart and wont turn away.

And sadly, some will be your friend because they know you have more than them and just try to take all you have from you! I have had friends who have had more than me, steal all I had in my purse! I have had friends jealous of me (for whatever reason I am not sure, still, even to this day), who will do and say things about me just to make others dislike me and not want to even give us a chance at getting to know each other! Some people can be so jealous, they will and do make up lies about you, just because they are jealous and they hate you for it and they want to ruin you!

It's hard, but we must avoid some people...

"With friends like those, who need enemies?"

But as I said, don't get me wrong, there are some really awesome people to be friends with out there...And those types of friends, can become friends for life (or eternity)...

PS- Lets try to help and teach others to turn "Negatives into Positives!" for a better more peaceful future!

Bless you all

I love helping people...

I'm not rich so I don't help people with money, BUT if I could I definitely would!
So I try my best to bring positive thoughts in them. I like to open their mind to see what is important and what they have told me, I show them in such a way that they actually realize I wasn't who told them those good things about themselves...they told me, I just brought their words out to them so that they could see, that they do care more about themselves, more than they realized.

I like to say, "Look to the bright side of things" or "Turn those negatives into positives", and life seems less depressing that way for them. I give examples, of why they should appreciate their lives and what they do have. I remind them that, someone somewhere, has it worse and that they should be grateful. I try to teach these things to my child as well but he is still too young to understand and care about such things right now. He also has aspergers syndrome, so it's a bit harder to comprehend such things for him right now. I do hope that in the future, he will see.

Some people have called me selfish and self centered...Those are the kinds of people, I try my best to avoid...Not because they are right, or that I think they are right, but because I know they are just saying it to hurt me and in the past it did bother me, but I know myself more now, and I know what they say about me is not true.

Sadly there are people in this world who try their best to hurt others in order to get some kind of thrill out of knowing they hurt you. This was my main reason for posting about "Letting go", because even though we care so much, it's harder staying within their life. I know I cry more about these things, than they do. And that is what makes it easier to stay away. I don't like crying, because my tears were caused just to please themselves. So just let go of those who only hurt you, to please themselves...NOT because you don't care (because you know you do!), but because they do their best to show you, they don't!

So now, I want to say something..."just because others don't 'see' you helping others, it does not mean that you aren't" And truthfully, I like helping others because know I helping others (in the best ways I can), makes me feel good...And I don't brag about it, because I am not doing it to prove a point, I do it because it feels good!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and for those of you hurting or feeling depressed or even putting yourself down..Please don't! Keep your head up, make a list of all the things you like about yourself...and DO NOT make a list of dislikes!

Sometimes we need to let go...

Sometimes we have people in our lives that we love very much. Even those who are family can be harmful to our health. And no matter how much we love them, if they keep on hurting us in different ways, we have to let them go there ways and we have to go ours.

I am choosing this topic, because I know how it feels to be hurt by those I love very dearly. For some of them, do not realize how much has been done for them and given to them out of the kindness of ones heart. Some of us would give the shirt off of our own backs, just so they do not stay cold, even when we are cold. I'm the kind of person, if someone does this for me...I am grateful and feel a little guilty knowing they are cold, but would do this for me to make me warm(I have had this done to me). I have done this for people I love, and was given ungrateful hurt feelings instead.  And than called selfish after saying no because I I didn't have it to give.

This is why I let some people go, I still love them, and miss them, but because I care for myself as well...I keep them at a distance, sadly I do not talk to or associate myself with these people anymore. I have given to others when I didn't have it to give, because I cared. And to have them not care back, or give me something, or help me in some way, for them to treat me as if I am the one who is ungrateful.

Having those kinds of people who use you, manipulate you and offer kindness just to use it as a means to throw in your face, is just grief and sorrow to ones heart. It's heartbreak to have people you love "Build on to happiness, just to stomp on it afterwards." ...Why build something if you are going to destroy it? That is what sandcastles are for.
"I refuse, to be used...anymore!"

There are so many things in history, that are still standing today, because of people's appreciation for them. Feelings should be treated this way, not as sandcastles, that will be destroyed by crashing waves or big feet.

Why must some people fight, to get along? I never quite understood that. I dislike fighting, and if I can avoid it, I do. I always stand up for what I believe in, so don't get me wrong, I just mean, I don't like unnecessary arguments, that only escalate to hurt feelings which end up with feelings of regret because words are spoken that we really did not mean...or who knows, maybe "they" mean them.?...

So much in life gets carried away, from fighting, from wars, from jealousy because they think someone's better than them or having more, or whatever. WHY? Why worry about those small things, when those small things create such huge destruction and or pain? It's exhausting, it's painful, it's even devastating and even sometimes lives are taken. There is just so much grief at times that we must TRY OUR BEST, to see things from a brighter side of things, where some of us open our eyes and actually have to force ourselves to be optimistic in order to cope, live and be happy. In order for our lives to get better and change because we are just tired of those ways.

I wish others would open their eyes and actually see that their life isn't as bad as it use to be and see that it is better and happier, but they are stuck on thoughts of yesterdays...

Sorry if this seems a bit off, but there are times I must share things in order for others to look ahead and to look up and see the brighter side of what IS THERE instead of seeing what was there!

Please put the past behind you, see NOW IS BETTER, and have peace and LET GO OF PAST GRIEVING'S!
Love and beauty is in everything, and is everywhere, if you just let go of then and see now. Enjoy what is there and better these days, because the bad that was then is gone!

Here are some motivational quotes...because I'm just feeling a bit unmotivated myself!

Hello everyone I am not feeling so motivated lately, so I thought I would make another quote post! Here are some great quotes I have found! Have a great day!

A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.
Ayn Rand

Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values.

To achieve, you need thought. You have to know what you are doing and that's real power.

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.
William James

Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.
Og Mandino

Be thine own palace, or the world's thy jail.
John Donne

Slacking off with my blogs lately, so here is an update!

I know I have been slacking off a bit with my blogs lately! Sorry for that!

Life has been keeping me quite busy and so has my mind. There have been some deep issues within my mind lately, concerning love (as you can probably tell) as well as being a mom.

My son has aspergers syndrome, so some days he can be a complete angel one day and a bit out of control the next. It can be quite exhausting at times, I have to admit. But I am also learning as I go...just to act like everything is fine, so he thinks his actions aren't bothering me. He knows how to push my buttons, that's for sure. But I am learning how to ignore those traits.

On to other things, I just wrote for my GED today! I am wishing for the best, and looking ahead positively, so that when I do get it...I'm on my way to bigger and better goals I have set for myself. I am writing more, because, I really am enjoying the writing I have been doing lately. Looking at my past writings, I do see much improvement. That is starting to give me more confidence and the future sure looks rewarding as well as promising!

I like to help others in ways, that I feel I can. So "This blogs for you!" hehe

Seriously though, I would like for others to post some feed back!

What would you like to see me give my opinions about?
What type of advice do you feel you need right now in life?
Do you feel like you are trapped and life is getting harder by the day?
Are you sick of where life is right now and you just want a change for the better, so badly you feel desperate for that change?

Speaking from experience, I have had these feelings before. I did things to get passed those feelings. They can also come back once in a while to trigger that emotion, of having to do something to get out of that feeling!

There are many ways; that we all can conquer those demons fighting us within. The torturers of our beings.
You can do it, and you are NOT ALONE!

Everyone's story might be different, our backgrounds different, and even our actions and reactions are different! But we all have similar "feelings" those moments give us!

I'm not pin pointing anyone here, I'm sharing my advice.
I know how it feels to feel like your digging your own grave and it just keeps getting deeper.
I know how it feels to have lost everything!
I know how it feels to feel desperate for change, because of feeling so unhappy.
I know how it feels to not know where to turn!
I know what it feels like to have your heart broken so much by so many people you trusted and loved!
I know how lots of things feel!

Don't be afraid to share what you're going through! I don't care if you use your own name or an alias!

Different forms of love...

I'd like to share my thoughts and feelings about the different forms of love.

There is a love, that is created from our parents and their parents. This love is created from the ground up(so to speak). A love for you as a parent, to your own children etc.

There is a love that is created out of a friendship. This love is created with similar interests and time spent together doing things of the like.

There is a love of time. This love is created over time and getting to know someone. This isn't necessarily a long lasting bond, but it can always be a friendship. If both sides can be civil. This could be an ex or even a family member.

Than there is that love, with someone you feel is always there no matter where they are, be it many miles, or on the other side of the train tacks, it can be a shared connection. This love is a connection of two people(A soul-mate or twin flame as some may call it), that can not be described, explained or shared until it is experienced. You can not teach it, you can not give it, unless it is in you to. It is a love, like no other. It is the kind of love, that can never be replaced...I have to admit here, I did not believe in such a love existed, until I experienced it myself. :(

Now I know this is not a very long posting, but it has been on my mind.

I hope you have enjoyed this little read, as it is, "Short but sweet".
Have a great weekend ahead and many kind thoughts goes out to all!

Ann

PS- I hope all you moms out there had a wonderful Mothers day!
